TiDBITS
Here are some tidbits of other aspects of my life, albeit a lot of it still have some form of design in them :)
Teaching UX design
I teach design as a volunteer at ReDI School Berlin, in a program to help women break the barrier on entering the digital world. This has by far been my most rewarding experience till date.
Rethinking the computer
As part of my master's thesis in Human Computer Interaction and Design I did a design internship with one of the most fascinating startups in Helsinki called Solu, who were completely rethinking the PC as we know of it today.
Travel Diaries
"One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry M.
I am eternally grateful for the opportunities I have to had to travel and see the world. It has moved me in ways that are indescribable. One of those moments was witnessing nature at its best in the form of the northern lights.
Talk on being a UX team of one
One of my favourite things about Berlin is its culture of having meetups around just about any topic. Here is me speaking on what it is like to be in a "UX team of one" at a designer's meetup.
Scuba diving in the great barrier reef
I wouldn't consider myself the adventurous kind, by my curiosity has no bounds. This sometimes leads me to do things such as this, deep sea diving in the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia with barely knowing how to swim.
